The full biography:
I’m an executive coach, corporate team coach, business coach, workshop facilitator and speaker. I am on a mission to help individuals, teams and organizations thrive in this new world of work. I left a decade-plus career in the corporate world to make my unique mark on the world. I founded and run a boutique organizational development company, operating out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My single goal is to help organizations and small businesses thrive by fully engaging their brightest and best minds.
We’re living in turbulent, uncertain times and change is occurring at an unparalleled rate. Fortunately, I’m a pragmatic optimist. We have more tools grounded in science today than ever before to transform these obstacles for good. My deep desire to be a part of the positive change needed in the world is why I work with those who are tackling some of the world’s thorniest problems.
Who I Serve
My clients are the clever, creative and caring: thought-leaders, community-builders, trail-blazers, innovators and business owners who are focused on doing good work in the world. My clients include Princess Margaret Hospital, University of Toronto, WE (Free the Children) and THNK School of Creative Leadership.
What I Do
Through handcrafted talks, interactive workshops and coaching, my clients learn to harness their unique strengths and collaborate to bring their most important and meaningful work into the world. My methods are based on the best that evidenced-based science has to offer, including applied positive psychology, neuroscience, appreciative inquiry, emotional intelligence and leading edge experiential learning and development.
Why Focus on Work? Work matters. Work is more than growing an organization or collecting a pay check/cheque. What’s more – leaving our personal values at the workplace door is no longer an option in the new world of work. How people feel about their work and the contribution they make has a powerful spill over effect on their families, their communities and the world. Work defines our legacy.
Clients who fully commit to working with me learn the sustainable skills needed to be engaged and thrive at work.
My Organizational Development Expertise
I draw from a degree in psychology, a 17-year career in the hospital sector (Centre for Addiction Medicine) and private sector (Johnson & Johnson Inc.) and more than ten years as a coach, facilitator and management consultant in my own business. I focus on work-based capacity-building, including workplace engagement, multi-generational team development, interpersonal communication, change management, organizational learning and leadership.
I’m an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation.
I rigorously follow the ethical principles established by:

Outside of Work
You’ll likely find me chatting with farmers at my local market, digging in my organic, heirloom garden, cooking for friends and family and depending on the time of year I’m either paddling on pristine Ontario waterways or cross-country skiing. Taking my family cottage off the grid is the next big item on my to-do list. I live in the Greater Toronto Area and in a quiet nook of cottage country with my distance-running, saxophone-playing and nature-loving husband, Steve. I’m a very proud Aunt to four and great Aunt to one. I must admit I left more than a little bit of my heart in Prince Edward County and Temagami, Ontario where I spent many glorious summers.
