I’ve had the good fortune to work with Natalie on bringing strength-based coaching to our management and directors here at Free The Children and Me to We. Prior to Natalie coming in, many of us struggled with understanding the role that strengths play in both our performance as well as the performance of our teams.
Following Natalie’s training, our managers were able to take their learning and apply it immediately to their teams. We’ve seen great success in managing staff with a focus on strengths as opposed to weaknesses. So much so, that we’ve incorporated this into how we evaluate performance.
Natalie’s training was engaging, relevant and customized to meet the needs of our group. With a young, largely Millennial workforce, Natalie ensured that the ½ day trainings she provided were customized in their delivery and in the desired outcomes.
It’s been a pleasure to not only work with Natalie on this training, but also to be able to connect with her as a mentor and guide. Her knowledge and experience in the Training & Development realm is vast and I always leave our conversations motivated and with great ideas that I’m inspired to turn into action immediately.

If you are looking for a coach, teacher or facilitator to open your mind to the possibilities, engage your creativity and inspire you to action, Natalie is your professional. Natalie has the trifecta of strong business acumen + excellent coaching skills + a knowledge base in positive psychology. This means that she’s pragmatic, knows the difference between telling, teaching and asking, and she’s got a theory base that informs her practice so she’s not just guessing. As much a people and organizations need help to push off of status quo, they also need to know that the time and money they invest will yield a strong return-on-investment. In a sea of practitioners Natalie stands out as a wise investment who, as an added value, is incredibly good fun to work with”.

“I invited Natalie to visit my Executive Coaching course at York University as a guest speaker. I felt that her coaching experiences would be valuable to share with my students. Natalie’s visit was engaging, honest and insightful and I could tell that she had given serious thought into the preparation of her session. Her visit was thoroughly enjoyed by the class and when I asked them “Should I invite Natalie back in future as a speaker?” the class shouted back with a unanimous YES! I would recommend Natalie for any coaching, training or speaking engagement, as she is highly engaging and “real”. I will definitely be inviting Natalie back for additional guest speaking spots in future.

“Exhibit Change has been up and running for nearly 5 years and we have tried several times to facilitate ourselves through the strategic planning process. Eventually it came time to bring someone in to facilitate us to the next level. Natalie was warm and generous with her time. She took our rambunctious and often tangential group and was able to steer us towards a 90-day action plan and long-term vision. She encouraged us to know when to stretch our goals and when to appropriately scale back. Truly, without Natalie’s facilitation and coaching we would not be where we are today. Having just passed our 90-day mark, we are able to more clearly articulate our goals moving forward and we have Natalie to thank”.
Jennifer Chan, Founder, Exhibit Change, Toronto
“Natalie facilitated our strategic planning session and was organized, professional and efficient. She took the time to understand the needs of our organization. Many of the participants praised her for keeping us on track, using diverse idea generators, and for keeping the energy level high for the 2 days. Natalie is a highly effective facilitator and an absolute pleasure to work with“.

“It is my pleasure to write this recommendation for Natalie. I did the first module of OISE’s Adult Education program with her, and can only say that Natalie is a humble instructor who is always doing her best to deliver meaningful content to adult learners. She was also extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and above all, truly focused on providing an educational environment that is highly productive.
I would highly recommend Natalie to any organization that is looking for a practical session. Without a doubt, she is one of the best instructors I’ve ever had.”
Ramon Perdigao, Management Consultant, MBA, CQID, Oshawa
“I had the opportunity to be in a training and development 3-day workshop which Natalie facilitated. I particularly found Natalie created situations for participants to practice what was taught; and focused on learning that was student centred. Overall: I found the learning experience to be excellent!”
Christopher DSouza, DM, MBA, PMP, RMP, Management Consultant, Brampton
“Natalie presented at our meeting and it was a fabulous opportunity to learn and grow. Hitting workplace negativity with a bright new way to solve problems holds great appeal.
This was an interactive presentation. Working in small groups, Natalie guided us to identify minimal risk changes could be applied to work teams. She quickly had all on board with a few exercises and participation was one-hundred percent. This workshop would be a wonderful addition to workplace and personal toolkits.
I would highly recommend Natalie Currie as a speaker and facilitator. All present were excited to tackle a chronic workplace problem with the newly learned strength-based tool and see the results”.
Patricia Wilkins, Program Committee Chairperson, Clinical Research Association of Canada, Toronto
“Natalie is a triple threat in the classroom. She has an excellent ability to understand and assess the needs of the learner, creates innovative course designs, and out-of-this-world facilitation. I lead a workshop today, was channeling my inner Natalie Currie and rocked it.”
Angie Allen, Graduate Student and Workshop Participant, London
“Natalie sets the bar high with our first module. Her presentation style engages the wide range of experience of our participants by drawing on their expertise and matching it to the new learning provided. Natalie is a pro”.

“Natalie is an amazing coach! She’s positive, upbeat, and a joy to collaborate with! She asks great questions, and transforms the experience of working through specific problems or sticky issues into a fun, creative exercise.
I was completely stuck about the direction to take my fledging business. In little over an hour, Natalie helped clarify my thinking with the end result that we identified new business opportunities that I would never have thought of on my own. Seriously, she’s just that epic”.
Sonia Quinones, Content Marketing Writer and Business Owner of Sonia Quinones, Los Angeles
“Natalie is upbeat, confident, insightful, and extremely knowledgeable. I am grateful for her because she continually sets aside time to help me tackle life’s tough questions. She’s on my team, rooting for me, encouraging me, helping me with important decisions.
When I first contacted Natalie I didn’t really know where to start. I was lacking “fire-in-the-belly”…living life without something that really excited me. I felt run down, trapped in a cage of my own making. As a coach, Natalie gave me all the tools I needed to discover what was missing. Natalie helped me to create a lifestyle that fits, while helping me launch my own relationship-education business. Now I am living a life and doing work that I love. I recommend people to Natalie all the time!”

“I learned so much from Natalie’s presentation “Create Radical Momentum: Resistance Is Futile….I’m Positive!” Her lively, informative and well-researched talk was peppered with practical examples of how to put new insights from brain and behavioral studies into action in down to earth ways. Her talk was fun and useful. We’ve been talking about in it the office all week. Thank you Natalie!”
Cassis Scott, Kids Growing, Toronto
“I took your course I just wanted to say thank you! I found it invaluable as I prepared and delivered a four-day comprehensive training week for new members of our team. Everything from what you taught, to how you modeled behaviors and even how you laid out the training binder helped me with my own training program. The event was met with great success.
I know I’m always immensely pleased when someone I’ve trained has found success as a result so I wanted to share this with you.
Stefanie, Instructional Designer and Facilitator, Toronto
“Thank you very much for the amazing class. I thought I would give you some feedback. I taught a class this week in San Francisco and I applied many of the concepts I learned. The feedback from the participants was that it was amazing and they loved it.
I could not have done it without the techniques you taught me.
Thank you very much.”
Anthony, IT Trainer, Toronto

“We thought Natalie was great because she understood us fairly quickly — and our dynamic wasn’t easy to understand. The insights she gave us about ourselves individually and as a team were on point. We still use the techniques she recommended.
We’re miles ahead of where we were before we started with Natalie. And we know we’re going be more than okay”.
